Eventually, if and when AltBiz evolves into more of a full-fledged organization, with real-world events and resources, and/or starts to eat up a disproportionate amount of the organizer(s)'s time and money, we will probably move to a paid membership structure of some type. But the cost will be kept reasonable, and will be decided upon with input from the membership.

Joining now for free does not in any way commit you to becoming  a paid member later, but we may offer a discount on membership at that time to existing members of the site.
